About Kyla

My name is Kyla. I've worked as a professional artist for the bulk of my adulthood. I have a degree in history, but I was originally a foreign language major, and I've been tutoring in math since high school. While I have been a permanent substitute in the past, I was offered a position as a 7th grade English teacher, I turned it down to go flying across the country on tour with my art, ultimately performing a one woman show at over three hundred colleges, nationwide. I currently tutor multiple students , in multiple subjects. I'm very strong at all core subjects, except science, beyond an elementary level. I instruct with enthusiasm, validation, and with the express intent to get your child to think about the answer, not just know it.
