About Kyla

Hi! My name is Kyla, and I'm a 21-year-old Psychology student at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a passion for working with children and supporting their growth and development. I currently work as a Behavioral Technician and am pursuing my Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification, with the long-term goal of becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). I have been working with children since I was 15 years old and have experience caring for children ranging from 1 month to 12 years old. Through both my childcare and professional experience, I have developed strong skills in supporting daily routines, encouraging positive behavior, creating engaging and age-appropriate activities, and providing patient, attentive care tailored to each child's individual needs. I am also comfortable preparing meals and snacks, maintaining a safe and structured environment, and providing dependable, nurturing support that families can trust.
