About Kyla

My name is Kyla, and I am a student at Grand Valley State University pursuing a career in pediatric sonography. I developed a love for working with children while volunteering at elementary schools during my time in high school. I am deeply passionate about working with children because I love being a positive influence in their lives and helping them feel supported, safe, and encouraged. Watching them learn new skills, build confidence, and express their big personalities is incredibly rewarding to me. I currently work at a daycare on the west side of Michigan, caring for children ages 3 months to 12 years old. Through this role, I have gained strong skills in communication, patience, adaptability, and creating a safe, nurturing environment. I am also CPR and First Aid certified.
