About Kya

Nurturing children's growth and development has been my lifelong passion, a calling that led me to a rewarding decade of childcare. I began watching other people's children at age 12. I also nannied for a family with 4 young boys ages 1-7 and a girl aged 11 for a few years, watching them for a few days at a time and traveling on vacations with them as well. With a college degree in biobehavioral health, I bring both academic insight and a patient, creative approach to your home. I hold CPR Training and First Aid Training certifications. For the past 4 years, I have implemented ABA therapy for children with autism. I am happy to assist with meal preparation, carpooling, and light housekeeping, always following your lead on household rules. I prioritize your preferred communication style to keep you updated on your child's day. I truly look forward to becoming a supportive, positive presence in your family's life.
