About Krysta

Hi! My name is Krysta. I'm an Air Force Veteran, licensed cosmetologist, and currently a student at Old Dominion University. I've been caring for children since the age of 12, starting with helping raise my own siblings. Since then, I've provided care for infants, toddlers, and young children-sometimes up to six kids under the age of 5 at once! I'm confident in all aspects of infant care, including diaper changes, bottle feeding, and establishing routines. I love creating fun, engaging activities like drawing, cooking, and basic learning games to keep kids entertained and stimulated. I'm also happy to prepare meals and help with light housekeeping related to childcare. In addition to babysitting for friends, neighbors, and family, I volunteered for three years as a childcare leader at my church, helping guide and teach children during summer programs. I'm also a huge animal lover and have experience pet sitting-so pets are more than welcome when I babysit!
