About Kristy

Hello! I am a military wife homeschooling mom of 3 amazing children whose wonder and creativity never cease to amaze me. Homeschooling gives us the freedom to be active and enjoy the world around us. We hike, fish, hunt, camp, rock climb, and love to travel to anywhere outdoors! The freedom homeschooling has given us is such a gift, to experience life and learning unrestricted and outside the box. We hope to find a family with similar values who would love for their child/children to experience the wonder of learning in the natural world around them and in fellowship with people. Culture and community are so important to us! We also love Lego and art and caring for our urban homestead. We believe children are all so unique and they learn differently and homeschooling gives us the ability to teach to each child's learning style. When the love of learning is fostered vs. the force of educational material, children flourish.
