About Kristy

Hi! I'm a mom of two, ages 13 and 19, with 20+ years of childcare experience. I've worked in childcare centers, ran my own in-home childcare, and nannied for families, caring for infants through teens. Most recently, I spent four years with a family, caring for their child from age one until kindergarten. They became like a second family and were truly a diamond in the rough. We worked as a team which allowed for flexibility on both sides. Leaving them was bittersweet. Afterward, I decided to take some time to focus on my family and my own creative business. I especially enjoy children who are at walking age and up. I'm creative, love crafts, games, music and being silly, while also believing in routine and structure. I prefer care in your home, but can am open to PT in mine. I do have a friendly dog who stays separate. I have mild cat/dog allergies, so am unable to cuddle up with your furry friends but am happy to let them out or feed them. Available school calendar with PT summers.
