*Fully vaccinated as of March 23rd, 2021 I started professionally working in the childcare field in 2009. However, I grew up helping my parents raise my siblings and ran a babysitting "business" in my teens. Most of that time was spent in a daycare setting. This gave me experience working with children from 6 weeks-12 years old. I left the daycare scene due to increasing, and unreasonable, expectations and extremely low compensation. I took a break and swore off childcare, since daycare had been my only experience it colored my outlook on everything else. Then I started to work for my first family, twin infants (boys) and amazing parents. For the first time in my childcare career, I felt appreciated. I knew then that being a nanny was what I was meant to do! The more personal and individualized experience has been amazing. Being able to actively and efficiently work with parents directly is a wonderful experience!
