About Kristi

In 2022, my mother was suddenly diagnosed with metastatic pancreatic cancer. I quit my 30 year career as a preschool teacher to be her caregiver. I have worked as a professional artist and writer. I have also begun to live out my life-long dream of homesteading, and have a flock of chickens and ducks that I raise for eggs. As a teacher, I was an expert in learning through play and in appropriate behavior modification strategies. I avoid screen-time when caring for children and prefer age appropriate books, games, art activities, science projects, outdoor play and free play. so Baby sitter available.
