About Kristi

I'm a certified teacher with over 20 years of experience. I work with all ages and learning styles, including students with ADHD and other learning challenges. I'd describe my personality as insightful, empathetic, and creative. I like tutoring because I enjoy helping students understand things in a way that makes sense to them. I'm looking for a job where I can use my strengths, do meaningful work, and collaborate with respectful, easy-to-communicate-with people. I started tutoring when I was a young teen, before I realized I would later become a teacher. Helping others learn has forever been part of my life. In my spare time, I like to learn, read, play the piano, play board games and expand my lived experiences. One thing a family should know about me is that I'm reliable, down-to-earth, and truly care. I show up consistently. My top tutoring skills are clear communication, patience, and encouragement. I explain things in a way that makes sense.
