About Kristine

I started babysitting when I was 13 for a 9-year-old girl in my neighborhood in Valdez, Alaska. At 18 years of age I worked at Starbright Early Learning Center in Anchorage, AK watching children from 3-5 years of age. We had "circle time", which entailed learning about the date, alphabet, and reading books. The school provided meals, educational entertainment, occasional outdoor recess, and above all safety. Now, I work as a teacher assistant in a different school off Lake Otis. I work 2-6:30 Monday-Friday and I work with the infant aged group, to the Preschool aged group. I have mainly excelled with preschool age because I have had the most experience in that realm. I have done everything from changing diapers and clothing, calming children down when they are screaming/crying, and am always trying to keep them busy using stimulating games. To sum it up, I love children and have a good head on my shoulders. I have recently passed AVTEC's nurse aide program and love watching super nanny :)
