About Kristin

I am an English Education major/French minor and graduate of Miami University; currently, I teach 6th-8th grade at Princeton Community Middle School. I love the arts, sports, reading, cooking, swimming, hiking, and exploring. I feel like a day is wasted if you don't learn something new. I have two younger siblings (one is two years younger, and one is seven years younger) that I always babysat growing up. Once I reached middle school and high school, I babysat for numerous families on weekends. These families all had two or more children that ranged from 1-10 years old. Throughout those jobs, I always cleaned the house, provided meals, and did activities with the kids. After babysitting, I life-guarded for 4 years at my community's public pool, in which I cared for kids every day. In college, I volunteered in elementary and middle schools tutoring kids struggling in reading or teaching them French. Everything I have done prepared me to teach and take care of children.
