About Kristin

I'm a lifelong ECE professional with over 30 years of experience working with children and families. I just moved here from Savannah with my husband. An empty-nester wanting to offer direct care as I decide what life pursuits are next for me. I like working with kids because I love to see them develop skills and watch their curiosity come out in their actions. I'm looking for a job that lets me use my knowledge of child development and engage my passion for working with children/families. When I was 16 I got a job as a mother's helper. Two infant twins were set in my lap for feeding at the same time, and I absolutely fell in love with the field and have never looked back! One thing you should know about me is that I will put your child first! My skills include responsive care, and planning developmentally appropriate, hands on activities that follow children's interests. I'd describe my personality as kind, engaging, and loyal. In my spare time, I like to camp, hike, and read.
