About Kristin

Empowering high school students to achieve academic success is my passion. With 10 years of experience as a certified teacher, I specialize in English and study skills. I believe in fostering a love for learning rather than simple memorization. By actively listening to your unique needs, I adapt my teaching methods--using visual aids, hands-on activities, or discussions--to ensure you thrive. I keep sessions engaging by connecting challenging concepts to your personal interests and celebrating every small victory along the way. I prioritize clear communication with both students and parents to build a collaborative, supportive environment. Whether we meet at your home, the library, or a local coffee shop, I am dedicated to helping you develop the critical thinking skills necessary for long-term growth. Nothing brings me more joy than witnessing that "aha!" moment when a difficult concept finally clicks for you.
