About Kristin

Hello, I have worked in a group home for the past 19 years taking care of individuals with special needs, and I also worked for Home Instead Senior care. I also took care of my father who dad dementia and Parkinson's. So I do have experience working with all kinds of different needs. I'd describe my personality as easy going, kind, and compassionate. I like caring for seniors because I enjoy their company, listening to their stories, being supportive to their needs, and making new friends. I'm looking for a job that it is flexible and easy going. I started caring for seniors in 2006. In my spare time, I like to spend time working on my plastic canvas crafts and crotchet. One thing you should know about me is that I am a mom of 4 adult kids and a sister with special needs so I understand how it feels to leave someone you care about in the hands of someone else. I have empathy for your situation. My skills include companion care, helping with self care, and communication.
