Hello! Let me tell you a little about myself. I am an avid reader. I love singing, playing, learning, laughing and helping children grow. I enjoy cooking, baking, crafting and learning new things. I really enjoy the outdoors, going to the park, beach and Zoo. I have taken care of boys and girls ranging from 12 yrs-NB. I have stayed close with many of the families I've worked for, spending special occasions with them and celebrating milestones. I have always loved working with kids. I enjoy kids because they each have an amazing and unique personality that is so different from adults. I enjoy watching infants grow into fascinated toddlers and then into curious kids. Being from a family of educators I understand that kids need to know so much before entering kindergarten now. I think that it is important for kids to learn through play and everyday things. Kristina worked as our full-time nanny for several months after my family and I moved to San Diego. She clearly had a lot of experience working with infants, toddlers, and young children. My husband and I felt 100% comfortable leaving our then 8-month-old daughter in Kristina's care. She knew just what to do when our daughter was fussy or wasn't feeling well, and was also very knowledgeable about age-appropriate toys and products (which helped us out a lot). Also, we were impressed with her reliability. She gave us lots of notice whenever she needed time off, and continued to come to work everyday even after suffering a foot injury. The only reason why Kristina is no longer with us is that our daughter has transitioned to daycare. However, it's clear that our daughter misses Kristina very much!
