About Kristie

My name is Kristie. I was a post-doctoral student until recently. I'm older than most childcare providers (mid-forties), but this also gives me more experience. I really enjoy being with kids as they are full of life & I can share my experiences with them. For over 20 years, I have worked with newborns to teenagers. My goal with all children is to learn more about them to see what games/ activities are appropriate with their likes/dislikes & of course protect/watch them diligently. Babies do also have these likes /dislikes too (& needs), but one must be in tune w/ diaper changing, bottles, holding the heads of newborns, toileting, etc . However, I think my goal is to keep them away from electronics as long as possible (used when needed & allowed of course.) I prefer going outside! I have excellent references & will provide upon request. I love walking, swimming, biking, reading, crafts & cooking. I can help with teaching/homework. Please ask me re: pets.
