About Kristie

I'd describe my personality as kind, nurturing and patient. I like working with kids because I enjoy helping them grow and develop through play and interaction. I'm looking for a job that I can partner with a family to provide care and learning experiences for their child/children. I started working with kids when I was employed as a Teacher Assistant in a special needs classroom. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family. We enjoy exploring nature centers, parks and the lakefront. One thing you should know about me is that childcare is not just a job but a career. I have been a career nanny and worked with many wonderful families, whose children ranged in age from newborn through school-age. My skills include multitasking, time management and great communication.
