About Kristie

Hi there! I am looking for a part-time nanny or babysitting job for 2 days a week. I began working with children through babysitting and nannying, then moved into teaching 1. 5-5-year-olds in a Reggio Emilia/RIE philosophy school. I grew up with a Montessori education, so my caretaking style brings in this philosophy as well. I've also co-directed a summer camp for children from preschool through 13 years old, and worked on a farm as a summertime nanny for 4 to 6 children for two years. I started a wedding floral design business two years ago and have consistent availability on Mondays and Tuesdays. Most Sundays and Wednesdays are flexible for me as well, though occasionally I have floral work for half of a day. I am a creative individual and like to plan sensory activities, art projects, fine and gross motor development activities, etc. for the children I work with. I also love spending time outdoors.
