About Kristian

I worked at a skilled nursing home in pleasant hill. I worked as a dietary aid and cook. I loved the job and I loved the residents. The job turns into more than a job when you get to know them personally. You learn their habits and routines. You get to where you look forward to seeing each one as you come in you learn their likes and dislikes and when and what exactly they want to eat. You take time out of your busy job schedule just to take time to sit and give them company and someone to talk to and to tell about the long life they have lived in the past. I enjoy just giving them the feeling that I'm also a friend not just a employee. Some had family that would visit others did not. So you paid a little extra attention to those who never got visitors because you know they have probably helped so many in their life and they deserve the companionship as much as the next. This is also a very hard line of work because you get attached to them as if it were your own grandparents. Anytime anything happened to them you found yourself a worried mess as if it were your own family member. I enjoy fishing and being outdoors. I have a 9-month-old son and many siblings I have great patience I don't get frustrated easily and I'm easy to talk to and get along with.
