About Kristen

Hi, my name is Kristen. I graduated from Eastern CT State University and received a BS in Communication. I also hold a masters of Deaf Education and work part time in multiple school districts as a teacher of the Deaf. I have experience working in schools as well as early intervention home visits with families with Deaf and hard of hearing children. I am fluent in American Sign Language and have worked with a wide range of students with different abilities and behaviors. I feel as though I have a good balance of flexibility and structure in working with children. I'm looking for part time work to supplement my part time teaching /service schedule. I am also working on building my business of being a deaf education consultant to children and families as well as providing direct services to those.
