About Kristen

In my childcare experience, I have professionally cared for autistic/ADHD children and kids between 3-15. I also led a mentoring program for college admissions, homework, and job assistance; I specialize in art, history, and SAT reading comprehension and writing. I have tutored college students, particularly in proofreading and strengthening essays. I was a dialogue facilitator for my professor, in which I sharpened my conflict resolution skills and basic therapy techniques. Finally, I earned a bachelor's degree in psychology with child development courses. As for animal care, I worked in the veterinary field, where I learned CPR and how to administer medications and IVs to cats and dogs. I was once a full time dog and cat caregiver; I built a freelance business with consistent clientele in NY. I have also worked in an animal shelter, where I trained to improve dogs' behaviors for adoption.
