As a child and young adult, animals were always a part of the family, and I now have a cat (Nyx) & dog (Moose/Airedale Terrier) of my own. I have previously volunteered at my local humane society, employed for a pet care based company (4 years) and also completed a training course with Cornell Cooperative Extentions. One of my favorite experiences was working for Old Chatham Sheepherding Company, starting off as a milker/farm hand and learning all there is to know about the daily care of our sheep!
