About Kristen

I have been a nanny for the same family for the past three and a half years, but they will no longer be needing my services when the kids start school in the fall. I am looking for a position where I can demonstrate my love of children, while planning fun and educational activities. I have experience planning lessons as a teacher in an infant/ toddler classroom as well as through my classes at the University of Minnesota, where I earned my degree in Elementary Education foundations. At my current position, we developed skills through organized play, arts and crafts, and many field trips. I try to plan activities that will help build physical, emotional, and social skills. I try to encourage curiosity and wonder in the world around us and develop a love of learning.
