Hi there! My experience with senior care is more interpersonal than my professional career in ABA and early childhood education. I volunteer(ed) with individuals with Alzheimer's and dementia from 7th grade-Senior year of HS where I eventually got a job offer as concierge and companion. My responsibilities were not only to manage the front but be the first and last person the residents saw. Listen to their needs, spend time with them as they integrate, care for them if they were unable to get needs met, and many more fun experiences. I worked there through COVID and am very familiar with protocols and trainings as well as the emotional needs of residents as every day is a new day. Personally, my mother is a Care and Clinical Operations Support Specialist as well as an ED trainer, Administrator, and Senior Care Specialist so my passion for individuals with dementia and Alzheimer's runs deeper than career.
