About Kristen

I'd describe my personality as patient, loving, helpful. I like working with kids because they have always brought me joy. I have been a teacher for over 15 years and truly enjoy working with children. I love watching them grow and explore. I'm looking for a job where you are willing to bring your child to my house. I have a baby and 2 school aged children. My baby would be home with us all day. I started officially working with kids 16 years ago as a second grade teacher. Before that, through our high school and college, I have always had babysitting jobs. In my spare time, I like to read and be outside. I enjoy reading books of all kinds and love to go for walks or bike rides. I like to get my kids outside as much as possible. One thing you should know about me is that I am hands on. I like to do little crafts and sensory play with my kids. It is so much fun for them to be involved and explore. My skills include activity planning, academic development, and safety!
