Greetings! I'm a new Hanska resident, just recently arrived from Washington state. I'm a former LPN and have worked as a respite provider to kids and adults with special needs for the past 13 years. Before that I worked as a paraeducator in the local school districts. Both my sons are type-1 diabetics so I'm proficient with diabetes care and medication management. I'm very responsible, gentle, and compassionate. I love reading to clients both young and old, playing cards or board games, and I've been told I'm an excellent cook. I'm happy to help with light housekeeping as well. Unfortunately, I'm unable to help with transportation (I've never had a ticket or accident), I'm just not comfortable driving clients, and I prefer to work close to Hanska.
