Hi! I've been a respite provider for Navy families with disabled children for the past 10 years. Prior to that I was a special education paraeducator in the CK, Bremerton and North Kitsap school districts. When my boys were growing up I was a Camp Fire troop leader, Sunday School teacher, and PTA treasurer. My absolute favorite activity to do with kiddos is reading books, either picture or chapter. I also like playing board games and doing crafts. I have a very gentle and relaxed caregiving style. I'm patient, kind and very reliable. I'm a former nurse and I absolutely adore animals. I'm very happy to help with light housekeeping as well Unfortunately, I'm not a provider who can transport children. I've never had an accident, but it's just something I'm not comfortable with. I also prefer to stay in the Central Kitsap / East Bremerton areas.

Kristen has been amazing with both of my kids. My son is special needs. She is patient, interactive, fun and knowledgeable about his safety and needs. She is caring, helpful and punctual. I feel confident in my kids well-being when I leave the house, knowing they are safe and will have fun when Kristen watches them. She is truly wonderful!
