About Kristen Lynn

I'd describe my personality as patient, caring, compassionate and fun. I pride myself on punctuality and reliability. I love being around seniors. They have so much wisdom and life experience to share and I love hearing about their lives. I have experience working in care centers and assisted living facilities in Activities/Recreation Therapy and have worked with all types of residents including those with Alzheimer's and dementia. I have also experienced Alzheimer's and dementia personally within my own family. I'm looking for a job that is part time, pays well, and engages with people. I started caring for seniors after 9/11 when I walked out of corporate work and wanted something more meaningful to do with my life. In my spare time, I like to walk, bike, cook/bake, drink coffee, play with my pets, read, play tennis and pickleball, swim, play piano, and go boogie boarding. My skills include cooking and meal prep, medication minding, activity engagement and safety mitigation.
