About Kristen

While volunteering with my high school's buddy system, I was able to experience firsthand the rigors of teaching children in a structured environment. During this experience, my interest in child care grew greatly. Since then, I have coached many cheerleading teams and events for children ages 6 through 14 as well as served as an overnight child care provider for working parents and a nanny. I have also been fortunate enough to work as an assistant teacher in a child care center, where I have gained much knowledge and insights while working with children ages newborn to age 12. I recently graduated from Slippery Rock University in PA with a degree and certification in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education. I have found that the more I have worked with children the more passionate I have become. Every day is something new when you work with children. The relationships that I have built with my clients and students are so powerful. I love watching young children grow and develop. I am currently living in Jacksonville but also willing to relocate to Orlando upon receiving a job offer.
