I am Kristen! I have more than 10 years of experience working with children. My degree is in Child Development. Every stage of development is amazing to watch: from a newborn learning to roll over or crawl to a toddler discovering he can throw a ball to a Preschooler having those "AHA" moments of being able to write a letter or form a play doh sculpture. Each child is an individual and I enjoy getting to know each one for who they are. Children are definitely not a "one size fits all!" Volunteer experience includes assisting youngsters/early elementary kids who need a little extra help in writing and reading skills and various ministry-related things within my church. Work experience has included early childhood/Preschool teaching roles, nannying, and Children's Ministry.
