About Kristen

Empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. With three years of experience supporting elementary through high school students in English, Art, History, and Special Education, I prioritize building confidence over rote memorization. I create a patient, engaging environment by tailoring my approach to your unique needs, whether through visual aids, hands-on activities, or interactive discussions. I find deep fulfillment in witnessing that "aha!" moment when a concept finally clicks. I maintain clear, consistent communication with families to ensure we are always working as a collaborative team. By connecting challenging material to your personal interests and celebrating every small victory, I foster a genuine love for learning. Since I have experience with challenging students, I am dedicated to providing the personalized support you need to thrive. I look forward to helping you discover just how much you are capable of achieving.
