Hi my name is Kristen! I have several years of experience working closely with special needs teens and adults in both group home and individual support settings. I worked at Little Flower Children and Family Services, where I supported developmentally disabled adults with a wide range of needs, from high- to low-functioning individuals. My role involved helping with daily routines, personal care, emotional support, and creating a safe, supportive environment where residents felt respected and cared for. I also worked at Maryhaven Center of Hope with a similar population, continuing to provide hands-on, compassionate care while encouraging independence and supporting individual goals. In addition, through Independent Support Services, I worked one-on-one with individuals in their homes and communities, helping them build life skills, confidence, and independence.
