Hi, I'm a childcare provider (infants through teens/young adults) experienced with various special needs. I've worked with children with autism both in school and home settings. I have experience as an instructional assistant (four years) in ABA/autistic classrooms and as a behavior therapist. I work with kids/students on life, social, academic and other skills. I'm experienced with speech delays and the use of various talking devices (i pads, PECS, etc). I'm more than happy to work with any therapists (speech, occupational, physical) or parents to best help your child. In addition to autism, I have experience as a mental health technician. I've worked in both inpatient and residential facilities with children and teens who struggle with emotional/behavioral issues and are diagnosed with mental illness. I'm also experienced with food allergies, asthma, and other various special needs. Anything I'm not familiar with, I'm happy to learn.
