About Kristen

Hello and nice to meet you! My name is Kristen. I am a Connecticut native who is moving to SC with my son. I have a background in working with children for over 10 years. I have worked in a variety of roles such as classroom teacher, nanny, case worker and in home care provider. I was working in a Montessori/Reggio based school until August. I am very familiar with teaching through hands on child interest based activities. I have since been doing nannying. I enjoy working with smaller groups of children on a more individual level. I am CPR, first aide, and epi pen certified. I have a background working with a variety of different children including those with trauma, special needs, and neurodivergence (add, autism, etc). I also enjoy getting to know families on a more personal level and therefore being able to provide even more tailored care. I also love animals and am comfortable with all pets. My favorite actives are process art and/or nature based.
