I believe in being both authoritative and compassionate with the kiddos under my care. Children need structure! But they also need to feel seen and understood. I always do my best to see things from their perspective while maintaining firm boundaries and contingencies. I have experience in de-escalation when it comes to frequent tantrums, elopement, and other "problem behaviors." Feel free to be upfront with me about these behaviors. Open communication is very important to me! I earned my BA in psychology from Chico State and have since been certified as a Registered Behavioral Technician. I am also certified in CPR and first aid for infants and children. Safety is always my #1 priority. I have experience in potty training, bathing, and diaper changing. I am willing to help with homework, light cleaning, and/or laundry. Please reach out to me with any questions!
