About Kristel

I have been a paraprofessional or aide for over 17 years. I have five children of my own. I have worked with special needs children. I have a bachelor's degree and working on my masters. I am a compassionate, creative, kind hearted individual. I'd describe my personality as caring, creative and patient. I like working with kids because I want to make some sort of difference for children to enjoy learning/life. I'm looking for a job while I am working on my masters degree, and will feel fulfilling. I started working with kids as a teenager babysitting. In my spare time, I like to hike, read, walk/run, cook, craft projects/art and travel adventure. One thing you should know about me is I am compassionately interested in those I am caring for. My skills include integrating enjoyment of learning through activities and interest. Creating schedules and resources to benefit individuals. Being observant and thoughtful in creating a safe and engaging environment.
