About Krista

For the past four years, I have been a pre-K teacher and two years before that I was a pre-K aid. I have also worked the after care school program. I would have stayed being a pre-K teacher forever. If my facility didn't just recently close its doors I was responsible for the safety of the kids in my care number one. We worked on social emotional skills and kindergarten readiness through developmentally appropriate curriculum. The best part of my job was being able to witness the moments where a child mastered a skill that they have been working on whether it be writing their name, recognizing a number, tying their shoes, anything. I loved being a part of their exciting and proud moments.
