Hi, I'm Kristal and have been a baby-sitting since I was 12 years old. Once I started college in St Louis, I decided to become a nanny and fell in love with what I do! I have been nannying for six years. I have sat for children ranging from newborn to 14 years old and as many as five children at once. I have experience with multiples (twins plus a sister only 18 months younger, felt like triplets at times :)). I stayed with all of my families long term all jobs ended with either my moving back to school, back home from school or the families themselves moving. I love being a nanny/sitter because of the joys watching children. I get to feel like a kid again myself, I love playing games, coloring, playing sports. I am just a kid at heart. I also know how to be tough when need be. I am patient and caring and remembering what being a child is like so makes it easier when they get frustrated or unset because things are not always perfect.

Kristal is so, so amazing with kids! We hired her to nanny several days per week when our daughter was just over a year. Eight years later, she is still our favorite sitter. Our daughter needed therapy when she was younger, and Kristal participated in the therapy and implemented the strategies, insuring that all of our daughter's caregivers were working in sync. She listens really well to our instructions, and also has a wealth of her own strategies for managing behaviors and needs. While our daughter is an only, we have also seen her work with several children at once, and she is skilled with multiple kids, too. We are so grateful to have her in our lives - we love her and she has truly become part of our family.
