About Krista

Hello families! My name is Krista I've been an early childhood teacher since 2017 and teaching children is my passion. I currently teach in an after school program with 1st graders and I'm also a mom of two teens! I have my teaching certification in early childhood, mandated reporter certification, Food handlers certification and first aid and CPR training. I like working with kids because they bring out the best in me as a nurturer. I enjoy teaching the small things. I started working with kids as a teaching assistant with the 2 and 3-year-old classroom. I fell in love with the school and the families. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the littles and helping families who are navigating parenting for the first time. In my spare time, I like to stay active! I enjoy going for walks, the gym, cooking and baking. My skills include caring for and making sure children are safe and supervised. I'm good at creating activities and having fun.
