About Krissy

I started working with dogs when I was 10 years old. I started training them at the same time, and I never stopped. I owned 3 dogs growing up before volunteering at PAWS animal shelter in Tinley park where I quickly came to be one of the most well respected and trusted "junior volunteers." I worked with the pets at this shelter for 2 years, and I would stay hours after my shift to help train adoptable pets with behavioral issues, so they could find a forever home. My senior year of high school I then started working at Midwest Animal Hospital where I not only took care of the boarding dogs and helped the doctors with medical care, but I also ran a doggy daycare group of up to 15 dogs alone. While working at this hospital, my employers were so impressed by my training ability that they created a training position for me to come in and help more adoptable puppies. More recently, I have devoted a lot of my time to studying cat behavior and training my own to do some amazing things.
