Hi I'm Krissie :). I am a Bay Area native and state credentialed teacher. I am currently looking for tutoring opportunities . I have over 25 years teaching experience in all grades, but my expertise is TK-2nd grade reading instruction. I am interested in tutoring for early reading instruction. I'd describe my personality as warm, encouraging, and nurturing. I like tutoring because I love providing instruction that helps it click for them! I use a systematic, multi-sensory phonics approach with my sessions. I would say I'm the perfect fit for a Pre K-2nd grade student that needs a little extra help and practice with reading and writing, outside of that classroom.
