I've always much love and respect for all elderly people.. I have lots of patience and understanding with both aging adults and those with memory issues. My biggest asset or strength, is my ability to listen and genuinely bond with all types of people and personalities. My experience started over 25 years ago when my grandmother got dementia. She needed help with everything from grocery shopping to medication management to driving to and from everything. Over the last 10 years during the summer, I've had the pleasure of working for two different business execs who were of sound mind, but afflicted with MS and Parkinson. I provided driving to and from appts, grocery shopping and errand running for both people.
