About Kory

I am an encouraging and patient tutor with experience supporting teens and young adults in academic, personal, and social growth. I have worked as a mental health counselor and Direct Support Professional, providing individualized guidance and creating inclusive, affirming learning spaces. I also have experience mentoring students from diverse backgrounds, designing lessons that are engaging, approachable, and confidence-building. I provide strengths-based coaching for study habits and managing stress and can support students in English, writing, psychology, research methods, statistics, and sports and fitness. My approach is grounded in active listening, patience, and respect, helping students build skills, confidence, and strategies for success while feeling supported and valued for who they are.
