For the past 20 years, I've been dedicated to helping students unlock their full potential. I hold a college degree, and my core teaching philosophy centers on personalized support, fostering a love for learning, and empowering students with critical thinking skills. I actively listen to students and observe their interactions with new material, adapting my teaching methods with visual aids, hands-on activities, and discussions. I keep students motivated by connecting challenging topics to their interests, celebrating successes, and breaking down complex problems. Communication is essential, so I prioritize open dialogue with students and parents to understand needs and set clear expectations. Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment and seeing their confidence grow is the most rewarding part of being a tutor. I am CPR and First Aid trained.
