I have experience with senior care. My mother's final three years of her life were acute dementia. So I understand the stages of grief and shock that a family goes through as they care for a loved one. I also was the youngest child of six children and it was humbling to see the roles reversed as she became incontinent. Seniors have a wealth of information. My internship was in hospice care and nursing home. I often met people whose families had long wrote them off but they were full of life. I am not a nurse so assisting with dressing, meals, light housework or gentle nudging would be my specialty. Go for a daily walk is fine.
