I have 2 1/2 years of experience working with Life Skills students with a variety of needs, including autism, Down syndrome, disabilities, and behavioral challenges. Through this experience, I have developed patience, compassion, and the ability to provide individualized support in a safe and nurturing environment. I enjoy helping children learn, grow, build independence, and feel valued. I also occasionally provide childcare for a child with autism, a disability, and seizures. This has strengthened my caregiving skills, attentiveness, and understanding of the importance of providing consistent, compassionate care. I am passionate about supporting children with special needs and believe every child deserves kindness, respect, patience, and the opportunity to thrive. My goal is to create a safe, loving, and supportive environment where every child feels comfortable and cared for.
