About Kiya

I'd describe my personality as kind hearted, open minded and genuine. I like working with kids because I love the process of building a connection with a child. It means the world to gain their trust, teach them, and be there for them when they need someone. I started working with kids around spring/ summer 2024 at PPE. I was a student intern for the assistant teachers along with a group of teenagers my age. There I experienced helping children with special needs, and doing a bunch of tasks for the teachers. I worked there from June to August, as it was a seasonal job. In my spare time, I love to do everything artsy. I love to make crafts and do DIY projects. I love to paint, draw, and color! I always encourage children to be as creative as they want to be!
