About Kitty

Hello! My name is Kitty. I am a graduate student at UMaine and dietetic intern. I received my bachelors of science in nutrition and dietetics. I have taken a range of courses myself, and love to teach. I can help with English/Language Arts, Art, Cooking, Science, elementary and some middle school math, and study skills for elementary through high school students. I prioritize creating a safe, patient, and engaging environment where the student feels comfortable exploring new ideas. By actively observing how the student interacts with material and encouraging open communication, I tailor my methods to fit their unique learning style. I believe clear communication with families builds the trust necessary for academic growth.
