About Kit

I'm Kit! In addition to a lifetime of experience as the older sibling of a brother on the Autism spectrum, I have four years of professional experience teaching academic, communication, emotional management, and attending skills to Autism Spectrum Disorder and Executive Function Disorder youth, including experience as lead teacher in a high school special education classroom. I strive to create a fun, engaging environment for students to learn, thrive, and express themselves. My approach to all skills from stemming management to English literature is the same: forging a bond with each student that gives them the comfort to experiment, learn, and push themselves to mastery. I have training in Applied Behavioral Analysis (non-certified), emotional crisis deescalation, and specialized programs for special education students like STAR and UNIQUE. I'm currently seeking special education students with long-term vocational or college goals needing academic, social , and life skills tutoring
